Donate Medical Supplies to Suffering Gazans

Beginning tomorrow, January 5, the Pharmacy One pharmacies will be participating in an effort to make it easier for the common people, us, to purchase pharmaceuticals to be sent via Aramex to Gaza.

They will be offering "relief packages" containing medical supplies: topical medications, pain killers, antibiotics, bandages, etc., for 20, 50, and 100 JD each.

There are 40 Pharmacy One locations in the Kingdom. Locations to follow.

Anyone who wants to buy a relief package, simply go to a Pharmacy One near you. You will be given a receipt for your purchase, and Aramex will pick up the collected packages to be sent to Gaza.

I'd like to thank the respected owner of Pharmacy One as well as the Regional Manager for your receptiveness, help, and absolute kindness today.

Those bloggers who get more than my measly visitor hits per day, please spread the word.

Is there a possibility that we get the people either at pharmacy one or aramex to post up numbers of donated boxes... u know, like so far we have donated 250 boxes and would like to reach a million...it makes it easier for people to feel like what they are contributing is actually doing something... rather than disappearing.

what say you?

Salam,
Salam!
I say that's a good idea, but the pharmacy may run into trouble doing that. (strict rules re: adveritsing and such) I think perhaps Aramex would be a good choice to approach about this. I'll contact someone who knows someone. :) Thanks.

Really, they are doing very good job for Donating Medical Supplies to Suffering Gazans. We all people should learn something from them and help the suffering people.
